World of Warcraft is a registered trademark of Blizzard Entertainment. Common Questions. Uldum is the level zone of Cataclysm. The full breadcrumb chain to Uldum starts during the Deepholm storyline as soon as players hit level Two quests open up in the player's respective faction's room in the Temple of Earth and involves a few quests at the Twilight Terrace before heading to Stormwind or Orgrimmar to check in, then down to Thistleshrub Valley in Tanaris to meet up with Adarrah 's caravan.
Adarrah's quest, [] Easy Money , is the required first quest of the zone, as the quests before it are all optional, but they do fill in some of the lore. After completing Easy Money, the storyline proper begins in a phased version of the Lost City of the Tol'vir with [] Traitors!
After [] Escape From the Lost City , players wind up in Ramkahen on the open world and can then branch out at their leisure. There are two parallel storylines in Uldum, one involving the tol'vir of Ramkahen and Neferset , and another involving Harrison Jones and the Coffer of Promise.
Both storylines can be completed independently of one another, and there is a breadcrumb early in the tol'vir storyline that sends players to Harrison. There ansistors The Tol'vir are practicly the same but have stone skin. The Ramkahen and the Tol"vir are much like the iron dwarfs and the normal dwarfs. Comment by Cambo Can't wait until I quest in this place.
Comment by hm Comment by Murlocinataor this place looks asthetically amazing. It was very clever to come up with this new area. Comment by Seref This zone is so amazing and beautiful. And I love ancient egyptian stuff. Not to mention the chances of getting an AQ mount from doing Archaeology here. Can't wait. Ive past through un'goro area plenty of times and I guess I just overlooked it.
Its like a wow version of egypt. Comment by With the new phasing system in place, does anyone have links to the quests needed to change the phase? Comment by Uldaman was a 5-man instance Ulduar was a raid Uldum is a zone Presumably if there's a 4th titan stronghold, it's an entire continent Next expansion: Uldrend!
Blizzard, I am indignant. Comment by noles I am not sure why wowhead lists this zone as Most of the quests here are 83 min. Those of you coming from Deepholm trying to get to 84 to be able to get to Twilight Highlands, this is the perfect place.
I completed all of Hyjal, enough of Vashj'ir to get the seahorse mount about a dozen or so quests , almost all of Deepholm, and only had to do a handful of quests here before I hit 84 and went to TH.
As a side note, I did complete all of the dungeon quests for BRC, Vortex and Stonecore, which is a decent amount of XP and certainly helped in not needing to do many quests in Uldum. It's not that I do not like this zone, I just found TH to be a lot more interesting, aesthetically and quest-wise. Another side note for those of you trying to decide whether to level here or TH.
I have noticed that there are a lot of quests in TH that require you to kill mobs that are already being attacked by NPC's. This means you can tag a lot of them in a short time and let the NPC's burn them down. Even if the enemy is very close to death, just hitting them once will usually give you credit for the kill.
As a shadow priest, these quests go extremely fast and this may be something to consider if you are trying to level to 85 as fast as possible.
I am not sure if these kinds of quests exist in Uldum as much as in TH or even at all, as I had only done about a dozen or so quests in Uldum, but I know there are at least a handful of these in TH, and I have only completed 45 quests here so far. Comment by "Harrison Jones" returns! Comment by For some reason, while in this zone I frequently get put into combat with no apparent cause.
Do the quest to escort the caravan to Uldum You'll get a key from a guy complete that quest and another cutscene will appear where they will be escaping from the city. After that cutscene you'll end up in Ramkahen Go back to Org and find you're portal :.
Comment by hannibalektr This is the most amazing artwork i've seen in wow yet.
