My buddy brings his PS4 over all the time and we have no issues playing Elder Scrolls Online sick game btw;especially if you like Skyrim and we played GTA Online for a few hours with 0 isssues. Overall things are running the way I want, but for how long Thanks to Datalink, I'm glad you're here on these forums. So thanks man, and I hope you're here to help fix people's issues for a long time.
View solution in original post. You have not mentioned intermittent issues with other devices, so we can rule out internet connection. Is PS3 on Wi-Fi or wired connection and have you tried wired connection?
Have you already reached out PS support yet? Just wondering what they have to say about the issue. By turning off media sharing in PS3, you might get different results. Well I'm still having this issue and I called useless tech support. They want me to pay a fee for a third party company to unlock ports I can do my own port forwarding. This is getting ridiculous.
I haven't changed my port forwarding and everything is set up exactly the way it was before. Anyone got any ideas? I have the ports opened that they suggested in there help page Edit: Ok now what's going on? I rebooted my modem, rebooted my PS3, and now everything is working I really hate this new modem and I really hate my ISP. I hate you so much! Which modem did you switch to when you changed your plans?
RogersMoin , if maybe the CommunityHelps can reach out to them to get the firmware pushed? The issue comes and goes. How I did it is a mystery to me.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the second time I called Rogers they found out that the assistance I needed with Tech. Paying that much for a small amount of technical help is ridiculous. Do you have connect and disconnect problems from the modem with all PS3 and PS4 functions, or are there specific games that exhibit these problems.
I've been having this issue on GTA V. The other two games I play alone in single player and Skyrim doesn't need the Internet unless there is an update. Can you show me this sticky? Or a direct link? Because I have no idea where to get the upgraded firmware.

They're really good! This might not be an option either, just thought I'd mention in case you hadn't heard of them. Oct 27, 9, OR. Will change the password just to be sure, thanks.
Will check this later when i'm home, thanks. Did you use the special login code for legacy systems on your PS3 after setting up 2FA? I'm not sure. Will check as soon as I can! This is the likely culprit. You can find this password in the 2FA section of the Sony Account website. Note that this is different than your 2FA backup codes.
Sorry for the double post Trekkie said:. Last edited: Nov 8, This has long since been resolved lol, thank you chaoyun2k for your input though. Accepted Answer. This has been here for a long time, but the first thing that I can think of is that there may be something else interfering with the reception.
Things like phones, computers, and even microwaves can cause interference I hope you found a solution by now, but I thought I'd add something that might be helpful to someone that reads these Answers. One note is that posting a question on the Board would probably get faster responses and more people would see the question increasing the chances for a good solution.
